Kick in the balls and I'm in pain

Fuck! I was just told that my immediate supervisor is getting a new job and will be out of here on April 17th. That sucks ass! We seemed to be on the same page and she knew what my thoughts were on pay! Now I have to schmooze a new boss soon.

I have to fight for more money, more training and I'm sure a half dozen other things with the new boss. It's all good! I just wish that my actions could speak for themselves but that just doesn't cut it these days! I have been kicking so much ass this first month here. I just hope it isn't for not now.

I keep reminding my boss that I turned down a job that would have paid me $7,000-$8,000 more a year! Plus, I feed them the line that my wife doesn't want me working here.

The key to this is the training! As long as I can get up to RI and get the 2 days of training I will become a wrecking ball here. They have no idea what to do with a kick ass mid-westerner like me. I sound like a cocky punk kid don't I?

So now I have to hope that all goes well and I can get a good boss that is on the level. Wish me luck!

Other than that, nothing is new in my life. I am hoping the weather gets better and I can get out more. Oh, I am planning on taking 3-4 days off this winter and going hiking in Shenandoah National Park this upcoming December....SOLO! I already have most of the gear. I need a nice fleece jacket and then I will be ready to rock and roll. I have looked at REI, Patagonia, and LL Bean. We will see! So now thats it! Nothing else!
