ethics of blogging
I am going to be heading back to Minnesota on Tuesday night versus Tuesday day. My wife had forgot to take the day off of work so we could leave early in the morning. It's all good! Been a while since I have done a cannonball run. I think it will take us about 20 hours from here to my destination in northern MN. I am hoping to make some time up by us driving late at night. I just hope that we can get through Chicago before morning rush hour. We will still get there the same time as if we left Tuesday morning so not much of a loss.
I am still not sure if I am looking forward to this reunion. I want to take pics and be able to post them. I am guessing th eethics of blogging is that you should tell the people that you might post their picture on the internet? Not sure I want to do that. This is my haven that I have created for myself. As lame as it is, it's mine! So, do I tell them and they say it's cool I post (if picture is warranted). What if they want to know the address to my blog? Do I tell them? Fuck it! I will figure it out or I just won't post pics of people. I will post other pics of my wonderful homeland!
I am planning a trip to Eagle Mountain (highest point in MN) with my cousin who thinks I am Daniele Boone! He is a crazy 12 year old kid. My wife and son should dig it. Not sure how the boy will handle it but we will find a way for him to make it! Pictures for sure!
Tomorrow night, I will post the first of many blogs of the "trivial" things that I do and think you (if YOU exist) might enjoy reading. The stories will be of real things that happen to me and the things I do. The direction I have wanted my blog to go in for a while. I have taken the subtle hints from the people that give me feedback on the posts of me cleaning up my dogs shit and inevitably dry heaving and drooling all over.
I am also thinking of relaying stories of my past that should inspire people to not be like me. Not that I am a bad guy or done bad things. Gives you an idea of where I have been and why I am who I am. Enjoy! I promise a lame blog before I leave...I may try to blog while in MN.
