on the phone

I am bored off my ass and thought I would drop a line. Why am I bored on a summer Saturday night? I am stuck on hold with my bank! This tropical storm thats rolling into the Gulf has fucked everything up and now they have half the staff for phone traffic. My expected wait time was 40 MINUTES!!! How wonderful! I have been on for about 15-20 minutes.

Why should I do this? Oh yeah, my wife lost her check card! With ALL of our money in it. So, yeah, I would like to cancel that as soon as possible. I can't be mad at her though. If there are any of you that have followed me for a while you will remember a fat useless wallet I owned. I had lost it in there and as soon as she canceled it...I found it!

At least there is good music. I have a beer and am going to play some cribbage online. Oh what a night. I wonder if this is worth it? I would like to think so.

Good night and hope everyone is having a better Saturday night than I am. Stevie Wonder's 'Superstition' is playing now...sweet! The writings on the wall.

UPDATE:

I am now at minute 40 of being on hold. Prince is playing! I really have nothing better to do at 11:08 p.m. The thing that will suck is that I will only talk with some one for about 5 minutes.
