Oh what a day
Man alive! I am tired. I have been going to this training/orientation for the last 3 days and it has been a test of my patience. I have been waking up at 6a.m. and having to drive a little over an hour there. Not bad but not fun! I have been getting paid for a full 8 hours and have been getting out at about 2 p.m. every day. Today was a lucky day and was out at 11a.m.
I now have to go some where else for more training some where else...even further. It's only 2 days so that isn;t so bad. Then I will have some more training at a closer location but it starts at 7a.m. I really need to get back in the mind frame of WORKING!! I am not a morning person and am guessing that I will have to suck that up if I want to be part of the working class.
So that's what I have been up to these last few days. I am still hoping to hear back from the college and see what the does for me. I called them this morning but the lady I was supposed to talk with wasn't there so I left a message. I still haven't heard back from her and am getting anxious. Do I call her back? Would that be too pushy? I am living on the edge of my seat. Like I said, I thought the interview went well. I think I said all of the right things. Who knows?
Nothing much else to report. My son has been shipped off to NJ to stay with my mother-in-law. I miss him big time. He was my little sidekick! Where ever and what ever I did during the day, the boy came along. I am guessing we will be getting him back in about a week or so.
We are also looking at moving soon. I need a cheaper place to live so I can get ahead again. I am not sure where I can find something decent in this area that doesn't have a crack whore or drug dealer nearby.
Catch you later when I have a better idea as to what I want to post about. Been working and need to catch up on some of the Mr. Mom things around i.e dishes, laundry.
