For MY viewing pleasure
Four entries in a single day? That has to be close to a record. Anyway, since I have been out of work, I have had to cut bills and sadly one of the first to go was the TV. It's not a coincidence that the remote is phallic in shape. I have a decent library of DVD/video. Which for your enjoyment tomorrow, and give you something to look forward to, I will leave a list of my movies.
Moving right along, me and my neighbor have been having a video exchange for the last few weeks and tonight I borrowed some movies to watch over the weekend. I am getting bored with my PS2 anyway.
SO for MY viewing pleasure I am going to be watching, not any any specific order.
- Sneakers
- Jeremiah Johnson
- Schindlers List
- Patton
That should be enough boob tube time to fry my brain over the course of the next few days. I am so glad that I have a job so I can buy DVD's again. It was bad last weekend when I was having a Tom Hanks day. I watched 'The Green Mile', 'Saving Private Ryan', and 'Forrest Gump'. So, I guess I will have a mini Robert Redford movie-thon and then jump into a World War II movie-thon.
Have a good weekend and be safe.

Woo hoo, I finally got a link! Of course, the guy who thought up my blog's name didn't even write the whole thing, but then again, my parents call me by a detested nickname too so I guess it all evens out.
What was I here for?
Oh yeah. When I was poor (as if I'm not now, ha!) I lived without TV for a long time. TV meaning "cable" because god knows you can't get anything in by antenna anymore so the box itself does nothing without the monthly bill. Anyway, I found that the local public library had a decent selection of videos and DVDs to rent. Check it out next time you're feeling pinched.

That is a very good idea. I have already beat you to the punch! I am a huge fan of my library. It was nice to ween my son from the boob tube and read more often to him....we read to him EVERY night at least.

How were the movies? I've seen some on the list. Sneakers was pretty good - but it's been a long time since I saw that one.
